Discus buffer for Killies? Keta-peat ?
I'm just now getting back into Killies after a long side trip into
homebrewing and I was wondering if anyone uses discus buffer to lower pH? I
have always used peat but a buffer sounds more stable. I moved to a new house
[trilevel] and I don't have but a 5 foot section of the laundry area for my
tanks so I'm going to concentrate on the more difficult Killies and be more
detail oriented. Before, with 60+ tanks, overtime at work, kids, other pets,
and more importantly, beer making, I wasn't as concerned with fluctuations.
Now I want to do it as right and careful as possible. Also, has any one used
Keta-peat? I'm sorry if I'm asking old questions but I don't know how to
search for specific things in the archives.
Thanks, Wimpy
