RE: Recycling activated charcoal



as far as recycling charcoal I normally heat the charcoal in the oven after
washing up from the debris collected in filter. after it has been heated for
about half an hour or so at the maximum temp of oven I cool them down into
cold water so the pores will be opened.

I have bad tap water and need to filter it before use. Activated coal is
rather expensive here in Germany. I once heard that activated coal can be
recycled. Does someone know how?
