ARK February Meeting and March Cactus - Killie - Cook-Out (CKCO)

The Arizona Rivulin Keepers will be gathering at our usual watering hole,
the Round Table Pizza on the northwest corner of Ray and Rural Roads in
south Tempe, on Saturday, February 8 (check our website at
http://ark.killi.net for directions).  Meetings are free and the public is
invited.  Plan to arrive about 6:30 and spent about a half hour socializing
and partaking any refreshments you wish to purchase.

The program will be an AKA video.  This month we will watch Peter Tirbak's
"The Elegans Group."  Peter puts together an excellent review of these
fishes.

We will also feature our monthly auction.   Killies, other small unusual
tropical fish, aquatic plants, and live food cultures from our members and
visitors are welcome. We will feature our usual 80/20 split with 80% of the
sales price going to the person bringing the fish or item.

SPECIAL EVENT: March Cactus - Killie - Cook-Out

Mark March 8th on your calendar.  Attend a Cactus League baseball game (your
choice and cost) and then come to our meeting and barbeque. Tentatively we
will have a special starting time of 5:00 pm and meet at the home of Bill
Edwards.  We will need a head count before March 1 in order to purchase food
and determine if we need to obtain a larger meeting place. Please notify
Allan Semeit (azkillie at yahoo_com) if you plan to attend.  There is no charge
to attendees for this fun evening.

ARK is flying in Monty Lehmann from Virginia who will present "The Killifish
of Cameroon".  Check our website for Monty's bio and expect an excellent
program.

We expect to have a super auction with an outstanding offering of fishes.
The auction is open to all attendees and we encourage people to bring
killies, other small unusual fish, aquatic plants, and live food cultures.
The person offering the item will receive 80% of the auction price.

We also anticipate a large raffle.  Raffle items will be supplied by several
prominent aquarium products companies.

Again, if you can be in Phoenix on March 8, 2003, plan to join us.  Check
