Re: Killies in planted tanks
My F. gardneri are reproducing very happily in a densely planted 29G tank
with Endler's livebearers and a few small loaches. They're doing so well
that I'm looking at trying an annual killie, since the non-annuals are
doing so well with so little work from me....
And BTW, thanks for the suggestions....the N. whitei look great, if I could
be sure of getting a smaller variety (Fish base says that they max out at a
couple of inches, which would be fine, but a pair of four-inch fish would
not work well in my tiny tanks....). S. zonatus also sounds neat. I'll
have to keep an eye out for some of those guys.
