Yes, that really is worth a try......filter the worms out of an active
yeast-microworm suspension and add that to your ready-to-hatch eggs, One
minor clarification, I'm suggesting it's the CO2 from the metabolizing
yeast and not the "little yeasties"  themselves. My method of force
hatching consists of breathing into a little bottle with the eggs and
capping it and carrying it in my pocket for 30 minutes. That does
essentially the same thing.

If it is the yeast from the worms that cause hatching - how about just 
adding yeast without worms? Has this been tried? It might make for an 
interesting experiment.
