Re: New AKA web site

Maybe I'm in a minority here, but my experience with Paypal has been
very different, and consistently excellent. I probably have
completed on the order of sixty transactions using that service, and
all of them have been smooth and problem-free. Honestly, I have no
idea what John is talking about, if I understand how the system
works. In fact, nowadays, if I purchase something through eBay, I am
always hoping that the seller has the Paypal option, which I prefer
over any of the (many) other options often given by sellers.

The only problem is that you must register by submitting your
information, and if you want to be a "verified" member (which you
don't have to be, by the way), there is a little more leg-work
involved. I suspect that you will find some resistance from those
who have never used it, and that may be the end of that idea. But if
it can be placed as an option, I approve. And if it saves the AKA
money, that is excellent. By the way, does having the Paypal option
preclude people who prefer sending money the old fashioned way (a
check through the mail) from doing so?

Just my two cents.

PS. I'm not sure, but I believe eBay recently purchased Paypal services.
