Re: [OT] recruiting via killitalk

Professor Meserve one of the early members of BAS would love to see the
things we have in the hobby today, like heaters, Plastic filters, All glass
tanks and computers.
I learned about killifish from BAS.

Gotta go pick eggs so there will be plenty when you come visit.
as the water changes automatically.

Board Members and AKA memeber who stood my side. Paul is so great. He made
really good points that I could not explain well enough. English is such a
difficult language. There are tons of times people misunderstand me or I
have hard time explaining thing well enough.

the mailing list. I had a great conversation via email with this individual
and he is not being a mad man or anything. So don't worry. Everyone has
different views, and I guess he thought that it is not appropriate to share
the local info to others who might not be in the area. But it is what he
thought, and I am sure he has different views now by reading the posts here.

am not really a person of recruiting. I do not think that the word,
"recruiting" should not be around in this hobby. In BAS, I think people like
to share the experiences or opportunities than trying to get more members. I
did not know about Killietalk until I met people at BAS, I did not know
about BAS until I met Paul through another mailing list. I do not think I
would have been taking care of my tanks as I do now if I did not get to know
those wonderful organizations and people.

through the tough difficult days in foreign country or from tough job..
etc.. But I have been very happy to meet wonderful people who have same
wonderful hobbies and have passions about it.

other than Turtle and Catherine, want to congraduate me for my first
killifish babies??????????????" I got so many emails about recruiting thing,
but not about my first baby killiefish!!!! :) I have been so excited about
it!!

I surely appreciate all your efforts to help other hobbyists! :)
