Re: Which is correct ?
I believe that this spelling issue was written up many years ago in JAKA,
discussed by some of the great names in the hobby. The convention is to
spell the full word killifish. Also conventionally, that is abbreviated to
killie. I have no idea why the e was added. Maybe someone just thought it
looked neater.
I am sometimes asked why I spelled the name of this list as killietalk. My
rationale was that this is a list to talk about killies, that is "killie
talk", which I shortened to killietalk to avoid the space in the name.
