That is close to my experience with Greensand and also that of Rosario
LaCorte who thinks the sand is too abrasive to the eggs if not separated
gently. I was separating it by selective sifting. He does however collect
eggs from #2 gravel of annuals by swirling a net above the gravel after
siphoning it out of the tank.
