Not to mention they will gobble up every egg, body (couldn't believe one
actually corralled a sick gold fish in my fourth grade's goldfish bowl) and
plant they can "run" down. Real eating machines - but not in your natural
set-up.

Innes and his crowd called them "infusoria snails" for all of the micro-life
generated by their droppings. They are useful for turning plant trimmings,
left over fish food and what have you into fuel for green water tanks.
