Take a container and lid that is dark so light cannot pas thru.
Drill a 1/2in. hole in it 1/2in below the water level of a larger
grow out container. Put something in it to weight it down.
place it in the grow out container and fill with water till the
hole is below the surface. Plug the hole with a small cloth
and add the peat and put the lid on. Take the cloth out of
the hole after the peat is wet. The fry will swim to the light
and out the hole into the grow out container.

The floating peat is above the hole, sinking is below it so
your peat stays in the dark container, fry go to the grow
out container.

This will get out most of the fry on the fish I have tried it on.
The fry that were left were belly sliders which I got out with a
dropper. It may take a day or two for them to swim out if thy
still have some egg sack left, hunger will get them to move
faster. Plants in the grow out may help.

I have tried it on two types of killi it work well it may
not work on all. Some may like the dark.
