RE: Interbreeding

Happy New Year and goodmorning,

Try a 25 watt heater. That is what I use. I have atleast 10 of them right
now and they work great for tanks 5 gallons and less. You definitely don't
want your temperature to fluctuate more than 4 degrees. Alot of books will
tell you 2 degrees. But Killies are pretty tough. Atleast the ones you have
are. I would not keep a breeding pair of gularis in anything smaller than a
10 gal with atleast 3 to 4 mops. The male will eventually get pretty nasty.
Well good luck and have fun.

Hey,

One more question: how much of a daily temperature change can
australe's handle and still breed? blue gularis? I think I should just
get a heater.. But i don't think it is economical to heat a 2g
container.. how do you people do that?
