I have had huge success with a product called "Resting Rotifer Cysts" from
Florida Aqua Farms. http://florida-aqua-farms.com. These appear to be a mix of
the rotifers Brachionus plicatilis and Brachionus calyciflorus. The price at
first appears to be high, especially for the smaller vials. However, I keep a
10 gallon tank loaded with Java Moss. Most of my fish and all of my fry have
Java Moss in thier tanks. I threw a small vial of the FAF Resting Rotifer
Cysts in with the Moss and there are a few kabillion in there now. I have seen
them under the scope. About once a week I toss in a 1/4 cup green water when I
am feeding the Daphnia. Now when I grab some Java Moss to put in with the fry
I am bringing rotifers along for the ride. If I want more a squirt from the
Java Moss tank contains tons.

Hope this helps
