Yep, that sounds like it. 1960s - sheesh! Good thing your memory and index
is better than mine. I did seem to remember Allan Johnson as the author, but
when one can not remember the decade of an article, shooting from the hip on
authors is a bad idea. Please do ask him if there are up dates on his info.

I was an AKA newbie when that article came out. (Had also just ordered and
read every back issue of anything the AKA had to sell.) One of the lessons
learned from that article was don't be too quick to generalize about a large
group of killies, their environments (or some environmental variables) might
well be just different enough to render statements made by a certain new,
enthusiastic and militant killinut laughably wrong.
