Re: Cut your own

At a local pet store in my neighborhood they actually sell glass tank
covers for 2.5g aquariums(Pen Plax or All Glass brand ~11.5"x5.5"). They
have the dividing pices of glass that fit through the two sets of notches
in the top and screen covers too. I dont remember the exact cost but they
are around: glass covers are $2-3, screens are ~$5 and dividing sheets are
~$2 for a set of two. I dont remember if the glass covers have handles or
not but I think they do. A little more expensive than cutting your own but
cheaper than if you went to a local glass glass shop and paid for them to
smooth the edges($0.10 a foot around here). They might have 5g covers
two. If anyone wants to know the place its Dolphin Pet Village on Camden(I
think) in Saratoga, Santa Clara or San Jose (I just know how to get there)
in the Bay Area. They also have a web site but that only has the address
on it right now. They dont stock very many of them either only a few of each.
