Fw: Tank Covers
RJ,
Up to 20 gallons it's 1/8 inch thickness. Maybe it's 30 gallons on up when
they go to thicker glass, don't know. In my pre-styrene days I
had a local glazier make all my tank
tops out of the 1/8" stuff. On APD,
(the plant people) feel that 1/8 inch
is the best for transparency/safety
factor. The styrene is translucent enough to where my plants grow quite
well, something I believe you mentioned before which is why I went to
styrene. Not interested in anything opaque, as that admits no light at all.
