Cut your own
When I went to the glass shop I took along a 5 gal. tank with a good fitting cover. By doing this they could see the application and I explained to them that "fit" was crucial. I think this helped to show them what was needed and I ended up with good results.
My covers are two piece. The longer piece is about 2/3's the length of the tank top and has one corner cut off to accommodate an air line. To the shorter piece I cement a marble handle and I feed and siphon water from this area.
I noticed in some of Allen Johnson's tanks he cemented small wooden drawer knobs for handles. I like this idea and may change over to it.
