  Some years ago AKA put out a magazine all about Nothos and their
breeding.  In it I remember that Nothos spawn best when the sun is at its
brightest time. So, when I spawned Nothos, I prepared a two liter coke
container with two inches of peat and put the container under a light and
placed the pair that had been separated for a day into it. In less than 5
minutes they would begin breeding and after 1 hour, I could have about 60
eggs layed.  This way your tanks can remain clean.
