I go to my local hardware store and have pieces of plate glass cut to
fit my tank tops.... I find this very inexpensive way to cover my tops
and it also allows me to view into the tank from above, plus it cuts
down on evaporation. I can have glass cut to fit a 2.5 or 5 gallon
tank for about a dollar each.... 10 gallon tanks are a couple of
bucks..... not to bad and they are cut to exact tank measurements...
All you need is some emory paper to take the sharper edges off the sides
that are left after the glass is cut.
