Re: digital cameras
>Charley Grimes and Ad Konings are using digital cameras.I had pestered
Charley about digital for several years and after he talked to Ad he got a
Coolpix 990 and he seldom uses his 35mm stuff anymore.Check out Randy Careys
website www.characin.com he is using a Coolpix 990.Years ago I asked my
brother who was a Audio-Visual freak about what VCR to get and his response
was unless you spend $3000 they're all crap! With all the babble about
lag-time , if it was zero I probably couldn't push the button at just the
right moment anyway.Sometimes too much knowledge is an impediment.

Operator headspace and timing....
Gee, guess I should've asked you guys the question "What digicam should I
buy for my wife?" before I bought her one. Oh well, for her, I think the
Nikon Coolpix 2500 is good enough. Consumer Reports liked it well enough.
Wright, you make it sound like you're a fairly famous photographer (well,
sort of); would you have done anything Joe Public would recognize?
And speaking of cameras, I just realize I have a Canon AE-1 sitting around
here gathering dust; is it worth selling it on eBay?
