Re: New person (take two)

Hi Jeff, welcome aboard. Dont worry about asking stupid questions. Everyone
on killietalk has been a beginner at one time themselves. To your request, I
think a nice pair of gardneri - Fundulopanchax gardneri - would be great in
your 20 L . There are several varieties to choose from like Nsukka, Makurdi,
Lakoja to name a few. If you have problems finding these, let us know. You
can also get help if you join the AKA. The beginner's committee will help you
get started. It is well worth it to join. When you obtain your first pair of
killies be sure you have a variety of foods. The gardneri are not that fussy
of eaters so what you have for your other fish is fine. We do keep the fish
straight. What I mean is that we dont cross strains or locations of
killifish. We try to maintain their natural beauty by developing a good
breeding program for each type maintained. I think you have made a good
choice in trying to find out what we are "really" about. Mark Delraso
