RE: A. Geryi - Shyness

Looks a lot like my male Geryi then other Geryi
pictures I've seen elsewhere (actually I believe my
male is a bit darker from the middle - through the
tail)
What I'll do is get a subdued type of background and
cover the back and sides of the tank.
Now I just need to find a way to get them more in 'the
mood'. Hopefuly their offspring will be a bit more
relaxed then they are (oh, the ones I have aren't wild
caught, they are F1's, perhaps the shyness is still in
them)
At the same time I see them happily swimming about at
times in rather plain view.. I guess they like to hide
at times, or perhaps while they sleep.
I must say they are an amusing fish!
