Gary,
I had this problem with a newer batch of eggs. They hatched in less than
24 hours and died before my usual feeding time. I lowered the temperature and
increased the aeration so that if I harvest at 24 hours they are OK. They do
not go much longer. Different batches of eggs seem to hatch at different
rates. My previous batch took 36-48 hours at 80 degrees, now I get hatching
in 24 hours at 75 degrees and no latitude. I don't like that rate of hatch
because it gives me no time to vary my schedule, but now that batch is used
up and I am back the previous batch.
