RE: FW: Austrol. nigripinnis Molina or Molino? Molino is correct

Hi Harry,
If "Molino" is correct then why does "Molina" appear as a collection
location in the second article of the last JAKA? The article was devoted to
a round table discussion of SA annuals.
Which is right, which is wrong? Maybe both are correct, but the names are
too close for nomenclatural comfort for me not to ask.
Don't we have a bunch of SA specialists on this list? They are awful quiet
on this, but perhaps they don't know either. Somebody knows.
Thanks,
mike

Refer to KMI IV , page 62

Uruguayan populations of Austrolebias nigripinnis Regan, 1912

Two populationos:

Carco de Molino -- Ceibas

maschwistz --- Molino (variation of Caco de Molino)

I thought you had learned of the spelling before this, Mike
