Re: Algea bloom

Thanks wright, I've had tons of mixed reactions with this post on other sites
to many people say this is way to much light and the algea are using the co2
and light fast then the plants ect... blah blah

But on the same hand i've heard many of people say that adding co2 and
just a little more light has been the key to they sucess with plants and now
they have NO! algea. Because the plants use the co2 faster then the algea if
i take it away then the algea will get a foot hold on the plants. I think i'm
going to start filitilizing my tank sence i usely don't maybe this will give
the plants a head start. Almost all the hard core plant guys have said the
same.... Basicaly do nothing different accept get better filteration and plug
through the bad algea. But i am going to do %50 water changes EVERYOTHER day.

P.S. The algea is not growing on the glass or plants just the water and
where can i borrow a diatom filter? Anyone from around canada wanna lend me
one? I will clean it out and buy new media for you.

     Bevan
