tubifex worms to condition killies

Any of you guys ever use tubefex worms to condition killies? I heard it 
wasn't a good idea because it can creat a waxy build up in the fishs stomic. 
Also will adult a.austreal talk baby brine shrimp as a conditioning food? If 
so does it work very well?
