I have no idea of what to do with your water problem but if you are looking for inexpensive box filters you can find them at petsolutions.com. In their catalog on page 23 they list Lee`s economy corner filter $1.59 ea., you can get 4 or more for $ 1.29 ea. Hope this helps and that you are doing well. Regards, Duane
