RE: New Rivulus

I saw this fish about 2 years ago at the convention. It is a real looker.
Surprisingly, it has not been making the rounds in the metro area. I know
that riv specialists are somewhat uncommon among our community But I would
be very hard pressed to think that there would be many among us that would
not make room in their fish room for this little guy. I for one have 4
species of Rivs, and would love to add this one.

Would anyone care to share some of their experiences with these fish. And
maybe the reason that these fish have not yet become popular? Or have they
caught on somewhere else that I am unaware of?

Peace,

~RJ~

Hi Chris, welcome back. I believe the fish you are referring to is Rivulus
species Mahdia. A Rivulus that looks like an Aphyosemion. For another
picture
(it is also in AquaLog) see
