It wouldn't be hard to write them to CD-R in V-CD format, and copying that type of disc is really easy. There must be someone who has a copier at work (I know that we did at the last place I worked, and we probably do here as well), and copying is as easy as dropping the data to the disc and then putting the disc into a copier with a stack of blanks and hitting copy and the number of discs to make. Each VCD disc holds about an hour, so a couple of discs would probably be required. Just about all DVD players will play them back, and any modern computer can play it back (that is, any machine currently being produced, or having been produced in the last 3-5 years could play it.)
The cost for that would be the work to get it onto a CD, and then the cost of the CD-R's, perhaps $0.50 per person., and the work of writing them. I would guess that this would be less than 1 hour per presentation, assuming you don't wait, and the advantage of doing it this way is that simple editing can be done before sending it out. Another advantage is that if there are slides etc, they can be digitized along with the presentation. Even with this somewhat higher level of effort, it would still only be a couple of hours per presentation. If the videos are for sale anyways, I could well believe that the total effort of getting it onto V-CD format would be less than just getting ready to sell the videos, and consequently, the CD's could be sold for less, while making more for the AKA.
Of course, this requires a video card with TV capture, but those are getting pretty cheap and easily available these days. The editing/writing software is either included, or is available free, so total cost is pretty low.

Al,
There is no way the AV committee can afford something like this. I have 8
presentations from this year's convention. For me to make copies for all
volunteers it would cost $50 per person. I know there were at least 20
volunteers which brings the cost to $1,000. If the AKA wants me to do
that then they will need to send a lot of cash my way and find me some time.
Even if I get the cash, I won't have enough time to do all of the work and
if it goes out commercially it will cost more. I have in the past provided
the local sponsoring club one copy for their club library at my cost.
However, since this year the convention was not sponsored by any one club, I
haven't offered such a deal.
