I am forwarding this FAQ to the killietalk list. I used to be on this 
list, but that was a long time ago. I had nearly forgotten it.

I applaud what Ade Lau wants to do, but feel that two near-identical 
lists may not be desirable. Since killietrader has been around for a 
couple of years, and has any bugs worked out, perhaps we should urge Ade 
to support it instead?

I'm for whatever helps the hobby. I just bet that Ade didn't even know 
about Jim's list when setting up the new one. I prefer to *not* have to 
check or register on two different lists. I get enough Yahoo SPAM, now.

Item #1 - It is suggested that in the Subject line that you list the 
species you are looking for. (very important) It must have a subject!

Items #2 - Somewhere in your message or signature incorporate what 
country you are from (where you live). This would possibly help those in 
areas where killies are rare to contact killie keepers in their 
geographical areas.

Item #3 - It has been suggested that a list of killie organizations 
worldwide be posted on a regular basis so that interested persons may 
contact them. If you are interested please send the club information to 
the list.

Item #4 - This is pretty obvious, spread the word about this list. The 
bigger it gets the better chance we have of finding the eggs and/or fish 
we are looking for.

Item #5 - This list is not meant to compete with any other Killie List 
or Killie organization! As a Killie enthusiast I support the AKA and the 
BKA and am a member. But NOT all of the people interested in killies are 
interested in or able to join the AKA or BKA so this may help them.

Item #6 - To post a message to the Killie Trader List send mail to 
killietrader at yahoogroups_com . PLEASE Send email to the list in TEXT 
Only. Do not use Rich Text, HTML, or MS Word format.

Item #7 - For those without Web access, you may subscribe to The Killie 
Trader List by sending email to killietrader-subscribe at yahoogroups_com
