Re: The truth about what I'm in for

I have had very good luck doing permanent set ups with a few species....
mostly Epiplatys.

Epiplatys Dageti and PseudoEpiplatys Annulatus did very well for me in
tanks with lots of plants, both on bottom ( java moss) and water sprite
on surface.... fry show up all over the place and i had several
different sized fish in those tanks all the time. Another fish that
did very well for me in this type of set up was Pachypanchac
Omalonotus..... I gave up picking eggs on that species because there was
always so many fry in the tank with the parents it was necessary... even
with just one adult pair to start with. On occasion i have had a
couple of different Rivs have fry grow up in the tanks with the parent
seemingly unmolested... Rivulus Cryptocallus was one for example.

Lately i have gone to tanks with lots of plants as opposed to lots of
mops.... seems to be less work for me and i just want enough fry to make
sure i have a next generation.
