RE: Lamprichthys tanganacanus

Hi Robert

Thanks for the tips. I'm using the slow method because they came from
extremely soft water (65 ppm tds, pH 7.2, kH 2.5 GH 2) I am also adding
cichlid salts and aragonite to bring them up to speed over the period of a
few days to a week. Aragonite is wonderful stuff and is much quicker than
crushed coral for bringing up all the water values of concern. If you
percolate RO water through a pipe full of it the water comes out at around
8.5 pH and hard as rocks.

At what size do they spawn? Mine are ~3 inches but thin as a rail. I'm
assuming the males are more colorful?

Thanks for everyone's impute.

Best fishes
David
