David,
I have had success with spawns in Tufa rock. It's a bit tricky getting the
eggs out,sometimes impossible.Since natural sponges resemble the surface of
Tufa,I am going to give that a try as a media since the sponge can be
manipulated to remove the rather large eggs with less chance of damage. Just
a thought.
