Re: Eclispe I Light Repair
Hi Bill:
Get a starter for the correct wattage. FS-2 for 14 and 15 and 20 watt.
FS-4 for the 30 and 40 watt. I believe that you require an FS-1. All you
need is the 'pea' bulb inside. But it is easy to wire in the whole 'can'.
There are only two pegs. It is simple and costs maybe 50 cents. Was
the bulb black at one end? Don't wait until a fluorescent bulb quits. As
soon as it starts to get dark at one end, replace. It is possible to burn
out the ballast. And if a unit starts blinking, unplug until repaired or you
may need extra parts.
