Re: memorial



While I support the idea of a moment of silence etc. - Because this list is
international, and the tragedy happened in NYC, I really believe each person
should decide how to best observe 9/11.  Personally, I plan to attend a
memorial service, and basically maintain a quiet day reflecting on what
happened and where the future will take the world.

However, I do think 24 hours of silence (in Killie Talk) is not really a
great idea.  Even in the U.S. where this happened, most organizations and
memorials are set between 8:45 am and 11 am Eastern Daylight Time. - I
believe that is 2:45am to 5am Greenwich (GMT).
