Hi Bevan,
My experience is that killies of different species can be introduced any
old time. Really serious dominance battles are usually beweeen
similar-size males of the same (or related) species, like Kristi's AUS.
That is when you want to be more careful not to get one shredded.
Fortunately, AUS are pretty laid back usually, so she should have little
problem.
I used to run a "bachelors" 25G tank that had an incredible number of
different species. They seemed to get along pretty well, as the tank was
thickly planted and anyone could find a hiding place if chased.
