I hope this hasn't been covered already, but Mike Jacobs has a fantastic
flow through fry system. His bulkheads have fittings on the inside of the
tank (he uses 2.5 to 7 gallon critter keepers) that have a "skeleton" for
a sponge, and he simply fits the sponge over the skeleton and voila, no
fry in the trough.
He may be able to give better details and steer you all toward his site
that has the pictures on it, I don't have the addy at the moment.
He also has a bypass for the plumbing from his water pump, so that any
"overkill” on the part of the pump, will be recycled back into the sump.
Keeps from blowing the hoses or any fixtures off of the water supply
manifold system.
