Re: My killifish rack

Hi all, thanks for the comments!

Al, the bulkheads consist of 2pcs 1/2" pvc elbows (internal thread on
one and external on the other) and 2 oversized rubber washers that needs
to be trimmed down. To adjust water height, change the internal pipe
(in the pic) accordingly. I'm still working on the internal overflow
box and will post it up when prints are developed and scanned (yeah
right... the out-dated method).

Tom, one of the gripe I have with centralized filtration is the control
of disease. My lesson from the total wipeout of RAC beira 98 is not
forgotten... not yet anyway.

If you've looked at the online album, you'd know that there's a limit as
to what I can install OUTSIDE the apartment along the corridor or public
hallway. I'm cheating a little in running a AC main extension for the
airpump near the ceiling but hooking up a water pipe would be pushing
it. It's a good idea tho and I'd experiment with less-permanent
fixtures.

Is that tea or paint strainer?? (does one actually strain paint?)

I'm working with extra plastic tanks on similar ideas, except that the
twin overflow is housed within ONE box.
