Re: oeseri
Hi,
I think the GS2-Fish is not useful for the consevation-program, in my opinion it's a little bit dangerous, to handle this fishes like a good species.
As far eas I know, the GS2 was collected together with the GS1-fishes, (a marmoratum-type fish with yellowish endings), but there were not different females, so both forms were spawned without knowing which female belongs to which male.
If that is true, can that be good strains? You can go further and ask: Was it right to give fishes of that unknown origin into the hobby?
You can tell it's no problem, if you see both form as one species, but then you should use one code (GS1) wiht two Phaenotypes.
