Hi John,

Many of us do not like them because they are just too vertical. I can't 
get them in a shoebox, for instance, but Michael's fit great, as do 
cut-down dirt magnets. I think Hydros are better for laterally compressed 
large fish like angels and discus that need taller tanks.

Any time I have killies in a tall-enough tank, I always seem to have a UGF 
or outside filter on it. I have won several in raffles, and not one has 
ever even gotten wet. :-) They are great filters. I just don't see any way 
to fit them into my systems.
