Re: Rivulus Hartii
Hi Michiko--
I have half a dozen or so that I'm growing out (and they grow like weeds)
from eggs I bought at National. They get fairly big, around 4", according to
my reference books, so a 5gallon may be too small. I plan on keeping them in
15 gallon tanks as I get breeding groups established.
I have found them to be quite tame (once they know where the food is coming
from) but Rivulus are notorious jumpers, so keep the tank covered. Also,
they seem to be big eaters ( and eat anything that fits in their mouths), so
feed them well (flake frozen, live).
Good luck with them.
