Stuff a bunch of water sprite in the pond (water hyacinth if the sun is
really direct) and you will have stocked it with fry.
You've still got a month or so in Northern Illinois. Hyacinth is legal
locally. Garden centers may be willing to clear it out. If you know a pond
person, they probably now have more than they need.
Do ask what they were raising the hyacinth with. People have wondered about
their funny looking killie fry which grew up into goldfish. ;)
That assumes that your water is low enough in minerals that you can do that.
If your other Aphysoemion, especially those from inland Gabon, are giving
you eggs indoors, your australe are probably ok.
I don't have tons of extra plants Frank, but if they aren't immediately
