Green water would be like feeding daphnia to adult oscars. A waste of 
time. Take a wad of J.moss and set it up in a container and add some 
milk to the water (1 tablespoon per gallon). This will cause an 
amazing bloom of infursoria. That may help with the feeding. If you 
can culture the infursoria in a rearing tank that will work better.

You can also try microworms and vinegar eels as well. You could also 
try smaller strain of brine shrimp such as San fransisco Bay Brand. 
the nauplii are tiny.
