I agree that Jungle Velvet Guard is a good product.  It is rather highly 
priced and consists of nothing but salt and acriflavine.  So I take a liter 
of water and dissolve a handful of salt in it and add several drops of 
acriflavine concentrate.  I put a little in each fry container and I've 
stopped losing batches of fry with no trace.
