Re: Full mailboxes
I'm not quite sure what you are getting at Bob. The address for subscribes
and unsubscribes is the same. You send a message to majordomo at aka_org in
each case. I have set up an easy subscription form on the web site that
simply sends the appropriate subscribe message to majordomo. I have NOT set
up an unsub message because in the past people have abused it by unsubbing
other people. Incidentally, I recently had a number of people complain to
me that they were subbed to killietalk without their permission. Apparently
someone else subbed them. I'm not sure how or why that happened, but to
avoid the problem I have had the settings on the list server changed such
that a confirmation message is sent out, to which you have to reply to get
on the list. In other words, if I sent a sub message for another email
address from my address, the confirmation message would go to the address
being subbed, giving the person the opportunity to decline.
