All,
I'll let the Kathetys specialists weigh in here. A beautiful A. elberti
was brought to this country by Oliver Lucanus earlier this year, from a
location called "N'douzem" (???) Apparently, the last I heard was that
no other Kathetys-type fish had ever been collected around this
locality, which deepened the mystery around this fish somewhat. At any
rate, that was the last I heard about them. I noticed them listed on
Patrick Coleman's site as one of the spp. he is working with, and I know
some of our other members are having great success with breeding them,
but we still have not heard the latest poop on what these critters are.
They look superficially like a "Kekemense-style" fish. Any takers??? I
have a good picture that I can send to someone if need be.
Cheers,
