Re:Killies Diets in the Wild

I am working on a flakefood for Killies. It will be fresh and less than
two-weeks from the oven. That keeps it together like a piece of
broken latex balloon. Tanks end up much cleaner. It will be high in
insects, including plankton. It will also have a goodly amount of
worms. Can enyone give me the parameters of fat, fibre, and so on
of what they ideally would have. I used to feed them 'ant aggs'. They
are not too different from most insect eggs. I also plan on using lots
if egg yolk. I would asume they consume a lot of eggs, primarily from
insects.

Also, any knowledgable hobbyists (up to 30) that have more than one
tank of the same fish, and currently feed some flakefood, could be a
great test for my formulas. Flakes would need to be a third or more of
their diet. Everything else the same. Just two different flakefoods. I'll
supply the mix if the hobbyists will compare both over say three months.
Let me know what you notice, and what the other flakefood was. I am
particulary interested in growing and/or conditioning fish for spawn.
This is a very small project for the mix I'll end up selling here locally.
I design food for the fish in question. This will help. Let me know if
you feel you can assist me in this.
