Did ya know that you can do this with Java Moss as well? I use Java Moss in
many of my frog tanks. It grows both above and below the water line. It will
actually grow quite a bit above the water line as long as it has something
to stick to and it stays moist.

Here is a picture that I took for something different. It shows Java moss
growing up wood. This was when it was just getting started. It eventually
became a thick carpet of moss.
