ANN -- Still looking...

Hi,

Several examples of *Epiplatys annulatus* "Monrovia" have turned up that
don't much look like the picture on page 19 of Radda and Purzl's _Color
Atlas of Cyprinodonts..._.

Since Wayland Lee and Robert Nhan once had that collection, here in
BAKA, I know they have been in the hobby and look very much like that
picture.

Note the bright red color on the *pectoral* fins as well as all the rest
of the lower fins. Several examples of "Monrovia" have been distributed
that do not have the original colors, including some I had last year
under that name. [Anyone who got them from me should drop that Monrovia
location, as it clearly is wrong.]

I am still seeking base breeding stock (3 pr or 2 trios) with the hope
of reintroducing this true location to the west coast. I'd appreciate a
private note from anyone who has them and might have some young stock
available some day.

Wright
