Adult Brine Shrimp

I emptied 4 1-gallon brine shrimp hatcheries into a 5-gallon bucket and
set it out in the back yard (concealed but receiving direct sunlight and
rainwater) .  It's been there for about 3 months now and rain water has
filled it to the brim.   It is interesting that a few - nearly invisible
- bbs have matured , laid eggs and those eggs have hatched and now the
bucket is teeming with all sizes of brine shrimp from newly hatched to
full grown adults.    I suppose it may be worth trying to cultivate those
rascals after seeing the results in the bucket.  Anyone else have similar
experience ?
